got another video from last night vs a modded GSXR 1000. 40-180ish roll. first 2 gears were even and then i ended up giving up 2-3 car lengths and then started realing it back in. i'll get the vide upload, it was filmed from an Evo X that traps almost 130 and he had a hard time keeping up.

nah the liter bike put 2-3 cars on me. funny thing is when i was RWD and had the plain K24s he had a GSXR 750 and we basically did the same roll with the same out come

i want to go to strip but i hate going in the heat - cuz the car run slower and that always makes me paranoid and sends me on a wild goose chase for unexistant problems

 

^^^ come out to one of our MIR track rentals late in the year...cool weather = lower ET and higher traps...

with any luck I'll have the SL55 out...

 

I've thought about doing one before. Far tow if anything goes wrong

 

it's the best rental bro we get back to back runs all day...seriously awesome with great temps and MIR is one of the best tracks in the nation and a nationally sanctioned NHRA facility!!!

if you break down you can crash in Bmore at my spot and we'll grab beers in the city lol!! figure the rest out later haha

Nice, at your power level...beating a litre bike will be tough.

I ran a 01 Viper last week and we did a 60 mph roll-on...I got him by about 2-3 cars. Then I ran a upgraded turbo dsm and beat the living **** out of him (4-5 cars)..same scenario (60-mph roll). I'm suppose to race a Gallardo w/I|E next week..from 60. I'm confident "juju" (name of my p-car) is going to smack it around on the highway to hell...

You should come down to one of my meets; there huge and I get some very tastely modded cars that attend, heck we can line up our cars.

I'll pm you the info to my next meet, heck if you can bring some friends w/you...my friends shop will offer support if something happens.

Val - i'd be in to come to the meet for sure. racing away from home court is a no-no policy in case anything brakes its a far tow. i dont trust my car to any shops, everything done by myself and handful of friends. Have you swapped the turbos out or still stock K24s? When i had k24s, tune exhaust - i beat up on my friends 99 Viper GTS pretty bad from a roll.

 

That is understandable; i'm the only one that wrenches on my car, I feel the same way in regards to trust...

My friends shop is there "just in-case", something happens at one of our meets and we need help right away.

Nope, turbos, tune..all that ish is stock...only thing my car has is a exhaust (no cats) and a evoms intake box thingy... it's amazing how the x50 responds to a "true" free flowing exhaust w/no cats, my friend has a 2jz-gte|single turbo swapped sc300 and we ran when my car was stock and he'd get me by about 2 cars...once I put these two simple mods on... I beat up on him by about 2 cars and maintain that gap to, the folks in my crew only race from a roll (60-UP).
