Finally weather permitted some sunday night action

Vette is procharged, lotsa boost, dual fueling, auto on DRs, built trans, high stall. Goes 10.4@142 just on a different tire (bigger slick). His alleged 723rwhp kinda made me anxious so I jumped him on the first run by a tiny bit (maybe stole a .15-.2 sec) and he chased, couldnt catch . I normally launch right on green but second run I just watched his wheel and launched easy figuring he would spin, but he didnt. I ended up a car behind at top of second gear and he let off for whatever reason. If you watch closely there are small flames at end of 2nd run. Enjoy.

Nice race you definitely jumped the first one bad. Second race looked good, too bad he let off because you probably would have passed him in third and fourth gear.

 

i actually didnt jump bad at all, watching in slowmotion frame by frame I stole about 4 feet. i count the light, for years now. reason why it looks like i jumped bad is because he slept bad.

second race i didnt launch nearly as hard and the reaction wasnt nearly as good .....i need a solid launch and a solid reaction to beat a car like that. i dont know if i would have passed him or not. maybe - maybe not, i think so.

 

What kind of setup are you running? Looks wicked.

 

You right in the first round,you didn't jump too ahead,you did right,he slept to go on green,he did late.

In second round as you said...you jump slow.Congrats both races were very good.It's not easy to jump a modded 996tt.

How many WHP do you have in your car and what tires are you using ??

i'm AWD on a Toyo T1R street tire 315/25/19 and 235/35/19 and the Vette is on Nitto Drag Radials.

yeah second race was close because of soft launch and not anticipating the light at all...
