Just curious, but why do you never race from a 40 roll or something? (although you are very good at launching your 6 speed TT, you would be killing these guys at a higher speed, especially with alpha 30s!)

What I've experience w/my own car on K24s is that my sweet spot is 2nd gear at 60mph; i'm not sure how good/bad the powerband is in 2nd gear from 60mph on the 3076s...mark?

that seems kinda high... what RPM are you at 60?

i usually do 2nd gear 40 or 45mph to get full use of 2nd gear since its probably the beastliest one.

No they usually don't, but I guess it depends who you have build/tune it.

I disagree...No matter how well built they just can not stand up to continual abuse on the street. A 700 whp evo is like a 1200 whp supra. Been there and done that with multiple builders. Just my opinion though...

closed circuit or road course...whole different story...or drag strip is fine too...and def up for top speed closed airport runways!

yea i agree with mark 40-45mph start in 2nd or 60-65 in 3rd is ideal.

Why stop there... 6th gear pulls from 25-60!!!

We used to do those with big turbo cars, would take FOREVER.

nah been busy getting some things ready to go back to the track soon.

- replaced coil packs to get rid of misfires
- installed Forge silicone boost hoses
- installed 997tt transmission mount
- removed driveshaft for RWD action
- installed CCWs with drag radials
- had to get a new MAF since mine died 2 days ago.
