LOL I know you were joking bro truth is I would love to put the SL on against some Pcars...the SL is modded with a SC and a lot of supporting mods, so it would be a good test for it...right now I have to get the rear camber arms on the car to get the rear suspension to work properly...

Awesome I know you sure can pilot an MB...sounds fantastic, I am not the best drag racer I was consistantly like 3/10ths off claytons time...he is excellent as no doubt you are as well...I remmember your E55 sweet ride bro! Lets hope I can make it to the event...I wanted to run my SL55 against your spoolbus for fun but dunno if they will onluy have one lane open for DR and one for street tires! Would be great to hang out again... gotta love the grunt of the M113 blower motor with mods hahaha!!!

 

you are lucky to have both my friend ! i'd love to have an 06 E55 as a daily. bunch of my friends got them now (3 or 4 lost count) so it won't happen. next MB may be one of the new 63TT cars...

^^ thanks man yeah I hope to make it to the 11/11 MIR rental, right now 2 factors (1) the Audi club event at VIR, if I don't get commited to that I am MIR bound for sure

(2) get the rear camber arms installed on the SL55, with the drag radials on there the car will squat on launch and that will cause excessive camber gain, Mark knows about that from the MB days that was an issue with hooking up...with the power my SL55 is making I need a ton of grip at the launch, she launches very hard with no spool time it's a hammer connected to the go pedal directly!!!

Thanks buddy...don't forget the BMW M3 Lightweight Touring car...this is the one I raced for a few succesful seasons and now take to the track with me when I instruct students at different club events (PCA, Audi club, Ferrari/Lambo club etc..) ...she's a fantastic car to have on the racing circuit, I've owned her since she was almost brand new lol

 

Man you impresed me,besides those two great cars you still have this beauty race car,do races and also you're a pilot's teacher.

Diggin your SL55. I have had a woody for an SL65 for a while now. Have you had a chance to drive an SL65 and compare to your SL55?

 

SLs are baller, especially the 65. so fast. be prepared for astronomical repair bills though. MB doesnt care about used car market and even though you can get a SL65 for 50-60k you are still paying repair costs on a 200k car.

 

Yeah..if anything, that will keep me out of that market...tempting though...
