Hello. I just installed a short shifter and have a gently used OEM shifter for sale. Removed from an 07 TT with 7k on the clock. Have not had any issues with the shifter since I've owned the car. Would prefer local pick up but will ship at buyers expense. Thanks.

How do you like the short shifter vs the regular 997 shifter? I've got a 996TT and looking to upgrade the shifter to either the 997 or 997SSK. I've read good things about both

Absolutely love the short shifter. It's a bit more mechanical, or notchy when cold but smooth as butter otherwise. The regular shifter is still great however the throws are bit long for me.

Thanks Tom. From everything I've read, the 997 shifter is a definite step up from the OEM 996 shifter. Are you open to offers for your 997 shifter? I'm in SF Bay area, so could pick up locally.
Tim

997 OEM shifter is insanely good vs the 996 shifter. Bolts right in. Get it before seller changes his mind!

Just installed the 997 shifter. Pretty straightforward install following DIY from another post. Took the car around the block. Wow - 997 shifter is much smoother than OEM 996 shifter.

Still looking for some Euro GT3 seats if anyone has any.

Thanks again, Tom.
