TR Motorsports 18x10 front et40 and 18x12 rear et45 forged wheels.
Best fitment is 996GT2 or race car needing wider front wheels. Will not fit stock suspension 996TT due to clearance on front springs. Pic shown is 996 TT with JRZ suspension. On 996TT at full steering lock will rub a little. PSM on track on 996TT is overactive which is why I am selling, street use fine.
Awesome for race car, or non-PSM GT2 etc. Beautiful NO curb rash . 23 lb fronts and rear 25lbs.
Wheels only $500

PSM Active
Wooosh,
I am looking for wider tires, particularly on the front, specfically for track use. I looked up the tires you have on these rims and the are 25.35 and 25.55 respectively, which doesn't sound like enough of a difference to cause PSM to become more active.
Is there something else I am missing besides tire diameter that is causing PSM to kick in??
Do you know of another solution to wider tires or are you going back to stock sizes?
BTW, on stock rims, I am using 235/40s and 315/30s R888s with no issues.

Hey Joe731,
Not sure what else could be causing PSM to kick in. I thought the tire sizes were close enough also. So I am guessing these wheels will be best for someone wanting to use even wider tires like 265's up front on a track car with no PSM like a GT2 or even a GT3 that has flared fenders since they are not wide body. Not sure about 997's. I do like that they are 18's which helps with tire $$$.
I am going back to stock wheels as my car is daily driven and only part time track car.

Sorry OT, but does the cayenne make good (real) tow vehicle? I have an opportunity to pick up a Cayenne Turbo and would want to tow some quads/bikes to the dunes much less than 3500lb once or twice a year...
Hey Ari,
I also had a Cayenne S as a tow vehicle that I used a couple times a year and it worked great, and I had a steel trailer which was significantly heavier than some of the aluminum one available . You should have no problem.
