What happened to the CCWs...relegated to track duty? Personally like the CCWs more (they're probably lighter too) but you can't go wrong with either.

Nice numbers on the exhaust/ICs. Be sure to get some mexico action vids up asap.

 

thanks Mike. i drove it for about 10 minutes and it was very quick. it's much quieter now inside, there is no drone. sounds significantly different then before, it's almost like i was getting used to it. i haven't driven it more since it was a whole big process to get into it with my knee.

a lot of guys jump on others for making something for their own community that looks great, gives huge gains, has awesome quality and costs 60% of what the competition charges. when will people get it? the more choices - the better. the more independent results - the better. the more people trying different things - the more different setups we would have.

for a platform this old the aftermarket is very very narrow, and the "real" information is hardly out there. most people run identical setups, excluding the handful who ventured out and built killers.

CCWs looked awesome, but i have really been feeling the classic HRE 542Rs lately. the oem twist look combined with a sweet HRE aftermarket look is tough to beat. a set came up for sale in perfect condition chrome which gave me the opportunity to do what i wanted. a shadow shrome top coat powdercoat over the HRE chrome. the color looks amazing in the daylight. over the past few years i have grown tired of cleaning mesh wheels so a 5 spoke will be a lot easier to maintain.

CCWs went to a new home, a friend of mine bought them and will be putting them to good use. i have a condition - it's my 5th set of wheels in less then 2 years

mexcio vids wont happen for a while. its cold here, car spins rwd rolling at 90mph with brand new tires and my knee is hardly in any shape to even get into that car.
