I have 996 GT3 seats, and no way would I trade them. Even if I wanted/needed OEM seats, I wouldn't trade them straight across.

IMO, find a set of 996 seats, and try and sell these, they will take a while.

 

Personal preference is just that, personal. You may not, but some one who buys a used car with "race" seats may have a different opinion and thats honestly what I was hoping to find. Im happy to see you happy with your 996 seats, I haven't had the chance to sit in them so the good reviews help.

 

The 996 seats are light weight, and very comfortable. I like them better then the 997 GT3 euro seats and the GT2 seats. The market is sitting around 2500 for a pair, hence the reason I wouldn't trade them straight across.

 

If you do ever decide to sell these please let me know, as I will need them at some point.

 

I have a 2009 with black Sport buckets coming. If they are what you are looking for (they appear to be the lightest of all the OEM seats) I would consider a trade with the black seats in your posting. Anyone else out there in forum-land with those or the adaptives in black leather, PM me in regards to a trade. Isn't it wonderful how we have many different preferences and this forum available to work out what is best for all of us?
