Can I ask what type of short shifter you installed that resulted in not re-using the shift lever and boot? First time I've heard of a short shifter that didn't utilize them and just change the mounting tower underneath.

I think you misunderstood. I installed a Porsche OEM SSK. I replaced the gear **** and boot with alcantara **** and boot. The original black leather **** and boot would fit just fine. I also upgraded the center and rear console to alcantara since the same labor was required to install the SSK. That's why those original items are also for sale. I hope this clears things up. :-)

OK, saw the part about installing SSK, but not about changing the other items at the same time. Good idea while the console was out.
