I had a similar crack that went all the way through and led to a air leak. Had it repaired and the shop doing the work said they do 3-4 of these a day. Mine still rock solid after a few months and perfect for street.

Thanks for the post. I'm considering removing the tires and selling just the wheels for $800 for the set plus shipping and Paypal of anyone is interested.
Also considering getting yet another set of wheels this time Work Meister in 19". I guess I have a wheel fetish - LOL
