I have a new set of Performance Friction 0776.01.17.44 brake pads in the box ready to ship. I accidentally ordered the wrong compound thinking I was installing the 08 compound while these are the 01s but didn't realize it until after they were put on the car and driven about 10 miles on the street. They are essentially new but obviously I can no longer return them so my loss is your gain. The PFC 0776 pad shape will fit many Porsches depending on your brake set up including the cars below:

The PFC 01 compound is Performance Frictions highest friction coefficient pad and as such is a very popular pad for use on the rear of the 996TT and 996GT3/2 to help shift the brake bias more to the rear on these cars where the rear brakes are so underutilized. The 01 compound is roughly equivalent to Pagid 14 blacks in terms of bite but unlike the Pagids the PFC pads do not require any bedding and are good all the way to the backing plate. Performance Friction are excellent pads and have been chosen by Porsche as the factory pads on the 991 Cup cars replacing Pagid. Here is the PFC 01 description below:


01 compound
01 is one of the most popular race compounds in the PFC's arsenal. Slightly higher bite and torque for the first 2/3's of the stop than 83 compound. At the end of the stop, 01 compound has less torque scatter for improved modulation with excellent release and a flat torque curve. 01 compound is very easy on the discs with very low wear, on par with 83 compounds.

01 Recommended Applications:
01 is recommended as an all-purpose pad in a wide variety of applications.
