ok so is this an upgrade from my stock turbos? What would need to be done to them if I wanted to switch from my stock turbos? I might be interested in them depending on what all they need to be installed on my stock 996tt.
I am also local, sa tx

Well...they are the same turbo that comes on the x50 and GT2. They are a direct bolt on from a wrenching perspective but will require ECU tuning. I couldn't really say what HP capabilities are of stock K24's with computer flash but I would suspect 500-550 rwhp is what I recall..

What most people do with these is send them off to their favorite tuner/turbo builder (911tuning.com seems to be the board favorite) for upgrade to 24/18g which can make 600-650 rwhp depending on mods and fuel. Or for even more power a k24/20g turbo is an option and capable of 650-700 rwhp depending on mods and fuel.

With any of the options you will require ECU tuning but they are direct bolt ons and are one of the cheapest bang for buck options available. There is plenty of info out there about these turbos, just do some searches.
