I have my old 997tt suspension for sale. I was looking for springs with replacement shocks, that were PASM compatible. I hate springs on factory shocks, it usually results in a bouncy uncontrolled ride, so I went looking for appropriate shorter and stiffer shocks to use with my GMG springs. Bilstein Germany makes the B8 Damptronic struts/shocks, which are fully compatible with the factory PASM system, but have a shorter design to be used with lowering springs to retain the full factory suspension travel.

The GMG springs lower the car just slightly, (about 1") and retail for $695. The Bilstein B8 suspension was ordered from Germany and took awhile to get here.

I put about 1500 miles on the suspension before swapping the 997tt out for a 991 with Sport PASM. My loss is your gain. This suspension is stiff but not punishing, works great both street and track and eliminates all of the floatiness from the stock suspension. I was much happier with this setup than the factory suspension, which was soft and unsteady to say the least.

You'll get a still pronounced difference between normal and sport, and the factory buttons still work. Bolts right in, no modifications to the car needed. Professionally installed and aligned, and professionally removed as well.

I can ship, but I'll have to find some big boxes, etc, so kind of a pain. Would prefer someone local to the SF Bay area pick them up - Locals have priority. I definitely prefer to sell as a package, but if you are interested in either the springs or shocks alone, I'll consider separating if no one wants the whole package.

Seems like a pretty nice setup and great buy for anyone with a stock ride height looking to lower their vehicle about inch or so.

Yes, they will physically fit a c4S. Not sure if they will be optimized for it, but they will fit.

 

I'll check on the part numbers with Bilstein. Very interested If they fit properly
