Guys I can not believe this happened to me, but I will post another thread about it!! This Monday past I lost full compression on 1 cylinder and 60psi on the one beside it after a long hwy pull. I do not know what this is going to cost, being the shop said there is not outward sign of catastrophic failer, but just to get in there is $$. I do not want to spend any extra money as this bill will be more then enough for me, but being I have no choice to drop the motor and find out the damage, I wanted to do items that I can only do when the motor is out.

Here is a small list of some items I am looking for preferably used at a good discount from new or I am open to NEW if the price is attractive:

- Inlet piping
- 997 intake (do not know how much of a benefit if any this is hp/power band wise if anyone has proof please let me know)
- would like to do LSD, but do not know if it is worth it, because I do no know if they need to open my tranny too and if so I do not need that extra expense

Any other thought as while I am in there, again not if it is going to cost be crazy coin. For ie should I my port my heads - if it cost $$ to re/re everything off the head etc forget it.

I think for sure I am looking for inlet piping since the motor is down, if the damage to the motor is not going to cost an organ to fix.

Any advise / help would be great!

Thanks

Bobby Ali

lsd is in the diff so not engine related. it can be doen in the car but not easy. do a search for expansion tanks. thats the 997 setup that a member has for sale. just the parts still have to modify to make it fit and work. more $

if you lost complete compression you have a major expense coming up. weld the coolant lines fix the issue and recoup from that. just my .02
