Hi there,

I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my 2007 997.1tt. I am looking for a relatively loud exhaust (I have been looking at FVD sound or X-pipe designs) with 200 cell cats. Tips would be great but not required.

Thanks for the info. Conrad actually emailed me soon after I posted the ad. It was really between his Cargraphic exhaust and a used GMG from another 6speed member. I have decided to go with the GMG - I may regret the decision but who knows. I worry about the drone and being too loud, but I just sold my C63 AMG and I would have preferred that a little louder so I hopefully I'll be okay

Hey I might be very interested in that cargraphic exhaust! Looking at that and the FVD. That's the one I prefer but would go with the cargraphic for the right price. Let me know please.

 

Just make sure you hear it in person before you buy it... I had to change my exhaust 4 times

 

I wish I could however where I'm from there are no chances of that. I bought my turbo without every driving one.

You should get Europipe 2 if you don't want to be disappointed... Most people in this Forum agree Europipe has the best sound

There you go!! That was my old exhaust! EP1 sounds way better than any CF or FVD...

If you want loud, the ep1 may not do it. I'll pm you about the Cargraphic. It has a great deep tone.

 

Just remember EP is the most popular exhaust for the 997TT... and there is a reason why...
