WTB: Atlas Grey Parts and Wheels

Category: Accessories
Price: $2000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to purchase some mods for my 2007 997.1 C2 from SoCal sellers (Los Angeles, etc)....looking for a GT3 front bumper/or other aftermarket front bumper, wheels, used stereo system, etc. The car is Atlas Grey with the stock 18 inch wheels so would be great if you had a bumper/wing that are already this color.... I prefer face to face deals in SoCal if possible.

Some of the wheels (18 or 19 inch) I like are the 18/19 inch sport design wheels, GT3 wheels, RUF dark grey wheels, HRE P40s, etc.

Thanks,
SoCal997

Wheels

I have 2 sets of wheels you may be interested in, and although I'm not local to Southern Cal, I do have wheel-specific boxes to ship them in.

  1. 19" Sport Design Wheels off of a 2005 997.1 C2S - very nice condition. $1,250 shipped. Come with colored crest Porsche center caps, but no TPMS.
  2. 19" Chromed Genuine RUF wheels also off of a 2005 997.1 C2S. Includes the rear 7mm spacers to make the RUF offsets correct. I have never seen another set of these wheels so they are extremely unique. Come with chrome center caps with colored crests. $4,500 shipped.
If you're interested in either set, send me an e-mail to petza914@gmail.com and I can send you more detailed photos of the wheels as well as a few pictures of what they looked like on my cars.

Thanks.

Specs

SoCal997,

Here are the specs on the wheels and the tires currently mounted. I was going to dismount the tires prior to shipping, but for $1,500 will include those too (that's 4 usable tires for $250). I also made an error on the center caps - they are the monochrome black crest versions (photos here), not the colored crest versions. If you don't want those, take off $100.

  • Fronts are 8x19 with 57mm offset (Porsche Part #997.362.156.04) and have 235//35-19 tires currently mounted. The tires have 0.282" (9/32) of tread remaining according to my digital caliper.
  • Rears are 11x19 with a 67mm offset (Porsche Part #997.362.162.07) and have 295/30-19 tires currently mounted. The tires have 0.181" (6/32") remaining. The Rears are almost down to the wear indicators, but not yet if you're looking to get a few more miles before replacement. The front are in good shape and will last through another set of Rears. These are a very good directional tire, especially in wet weather, but are not N-spec. If you just want the wheels without the tires, I will dismount them prior to shipping and sell them for my original quote of $1,250 shipped - $1,150 shipped without the center caps.

The wheels are very nice, but not perfect. Rear inner lips are scraped (not the visible outer ones) from what looks like being washed on a driveway and the wheel lips protruded beyond the tire sidewall and got scraped. Each rear also has some scratching on the front side lip (closeups in the photo set). Fronts are very nice with just a few small marks that I've pointed out in the photo set.

There are many pictures, including close-ups of any defects, on a Shutterfly Share site that you can access via the link below

http://cmd.shutterfly.com/commands/p...m=8&albumPath=

I'm also going to post some photos of these wheels on my GT Silver RUF R-Kompressor, my wife's black 997.1 C2S, and her converted pink pearl C2S (which is now wearing GT3 wheels and why these are up for sale) so you can see how they look on various color cars.

I can receive PMs or you can email me at petza914@gmail.com.

Let me know.

Sorry, the only set I have go with my RUF wheels. If you end up doing spacers, make sure you get hub-centric ones with the center lip. RUF and others make them this way, but others are just flat, which aren't as good.

Selling my avant garde m550. Looking to get 1200 for just the wheels or 2000 wheels and tires. Wheels are in perfect shape. No bends or curb rash. Just bought a set of hre's arriving next week. Also include tpms sensors. Tires have 3000 miles on them.

Wide body wheels (C4, C4S, Turbo, GT2, etc) will not fit the narrow body cars (C2, C2S, GT3) as the offsets are incorrect, unless these wheels were narrow body wheels that were installed with spacers on the Wide-body Turbo shown in the photo - they are very pretty though.

bump for Atlas Grey parts (taking a look at a bumper right now in LA). Also, starting to look for interior enhancements to match a cocoa brown interior.
