GT3 crank for 996 or 997 turbo motor(metzger) in great condition

 

this crank is perfect for someone doing a 996TT engine build,it does require the GT3 intermediate shaft

 

ill bite why is this a better option than the oem crank and what supporting parts are needed to get the most out of the crank? im sourcing internals for a winter build

 

Cranks are cross drilled for 180 degree oiling and stroke is same as ours at 76.4. Also a stronger crank but if I recall heavier. Could be knife edged. Rod journals are different but arrow precision makes rods that fit and will custom build to most applications. CJV had the rod journals regrind to use special oval NASCAR bearings which allowed longer stroke and few extra cubes.

 

As said above for big power and higher RPM use this is a stronger crank with better bearing oiling and wider rod journals than a stock TT crank.IT requires a GT3 intermediate shaft and Rod for this crank which are available from Carillo,Arrow,etc.
