Stock 997.1 Shift assembly

Category: Accessories
Price: $150
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Non-Turbo, Porsche Boxter/Cayman
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

I have a stock 997.1 shift assembly for sale. This was directly taken off my 2006 997 Carrera S Cabriolet @ around 6k miles. Reason for removal: I installed the OEM 997 short shift kit. I've recently sold the car, so this part is still left in my garage!

I believe this is a direct fit for Boxsters (1997-2004) and 996 Carreras ( 1999-2004). Buyer to validate on their own before purchase. Note, this is a 6 speed unit.

Per Suncoast, it "reduces the shift throw by 15% over the stock version, and adds smoother shifting. Direct fit, no modifications required. Accepts all manual shift *****." Shift **** NOT included.

I'm confused. The Suncoast quote is for the SSK, but you said this is the standard shifter.

The suncoast quote I mentioned is for the standard 997 shifter, taken from here:

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/997SCU.html?Category_Code=986Tran

I believe that mention of the 15% shorter throw is compared to the factory 986. To be clear, the part I am selling is NOT a 997 SSK; it's the standard 6 speed shifter out of a 2006 911 Carerra S Cabriolet.

Sorry, my mistake! The Suncoast wording is very similar to what they use when describing the 997 SSK.

You're out to lunch on the asking price. These go for $30-50.
