I am replacing my PCM with an aftermarket system.

i am the buyer of the tooki unit. the unit was picked up in person and was professionally installed by the sellers own installer.

the hands free phone function does work however caller id does not display the name. spoke to the manufacturer and they claim the parrot chip inside is damaged.

the seller suggested that i see the phone for caller id purposes and suggested i also do a software downgrade.

after that the seller has not replied to my texts or emails. i guess it is a lesson learnt in buying used electronics.....

 

I have explained to the buyer for the 3 years i had the Tooki it never displayed the "CallerID Name" of incoming calls. I always relied on my phone to identify the caller by name. May be someone here can shade some light for us?
