I'm selling my rollbar because I am 6' 4" and need a bar with a little more room, so I can fit a little easier. The design of this bar did work fine for me, but I'm so tall that it was a pain to get around when working on my car's interior/seats.

This half cage rollbar is a two piece strut-mounting bar. It attaches down to where the seatbelts attach, and to the rear struts.

A rollbar is a critical safety piece for any tracking or racing 996/997. It also looks awesome when installed.

The bar is made of steel, and weighs roughly 60 pounds.

Powdercoating this bar only cost me $100, If this isn't your color- just powdercoat it! Its that simple!

Would this fit a 996 with sunroof or will it only fit on cars w/o? I have heard the gt2 has more headroom.

Is it painted or powder coated? Mild steel?

What gauge steel? Thickness of bars?

Did your seats go all the way back or did the cage prevent it?

 

It should fit a 996 with a sunroof, but I'm not entirely sure. The bar goes back behind the sunroof.

I'm not sure what type of steel it is, or its thickness, but I can assure you that it is THICK.

The bar is powdercoated white (by bulldog powdercoating).

My stock seats would not go all the way back, but I could get my bucket gt3/2 rep seats in quite far back. The specific fitment for you car is hard to tell.

I think my younger brother bought his fabspeed exhaust from you. He has a black 997TT...
