FS: 19" hre 545r

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $3000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): NJ
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

I am throwing this out there to see if there are any interest in these 19" HRE545R's that I got with my recent purchase. I have the original receipts on these and they were purchased in October of 2007 for 5200 and they are still in top condition!

I added a few pics - rear tires are down to threads but fronts are practically brand new Michellin PSS's

Let me know if you're interested

Send them out to be refinished and they will be like new. That's what I did and couldn't be happier. Tire Rack should have 315s. Have you checked there?

Tire Rack does, the fronts are new PSS so I want to match but buying new PSS isn't something I want to do. There are a set of 295/30s for sale on here would it be a huge difference versus the 315/25s? The 315's aren't stretched but it looks like the 295 might stretch and in turn reduce the 30 to 25...

Am I crazy or does my logic not make any sense

Stretching a tire won't make a 30 series tire like a 25 series. You're going to keep the same rolling diameter whether stretching or not. How wide are the rears to run a 315? I'm running a 305/30 on a 12.5" wheel

I do it locally in Massachusetts. RimPro and Ace Performance in Tewksbury MA have completely refinished my wheels. Send chrome lips to CA for re-dip in chrome, straightened and powdercoated inner barrels black.

Maybe if you refinish wheels, possibly powdercoat the centers to match your paint, and go chrome on the lips... you will love them. They are sweet wheels and wish my car came with a set up like that.

HRE quoted me and it ended up being double the price compared to locally. The one good thing is HRE will extend the warranty once repaired.
