Hello guys,

Let me introduce myself, I am a proud owner of the porsche cayman 2009 , and have had it for 2 years now.

Unfortunately a week back the car a rock on the high way and the TPSM activated telling me my rear right tire had flattened, Never mind i got two brand new tyres for my rear.

When i went to get the tyres installed they told me that the rear rim has a crack on it too and it needs to changed.

My rim model is 67375 and i have been trying to look for an refurbished rim anywhere but to no avail.

My nearest porsche dealer quoted me 1100 dollars for one, which i though was too high!

I come with great expectations on this forum if somebody can help me out with locating this rim for abetter price somewhere and I am willing to get it done!

I have looked at all online websites and none have them in stock and not sure when they are gonna get new ones either.

can you post a pic? and have you tried searching on the net for porsche rim and model#? theres a few places that sell refurbed wheels for less than half retail.

I was wondering if somebody could help me locating from there nearby AD at a better price or any local refurbished shop near them.

Wrong one, the OPs is a Boxster S wheel for the 987.2 the link is for an earlier verson.

Here's one in ugly chrome and it's a front, you might want to contact the ebay seller

Are you against repairing the wheel?

 

I would personally not be comfortable with it driving with a repaired rim. For my piece of mind I would want a refurbished/used or new rim.

 

Dave why isn't this rim the similar one, just for my own knowledge?

Have you tried posting an ad on planet-9.com? That's the site most boxster/cayman owners use. Also try posting an ad on the PCA classifieds.
