Bypass

To use the bypass without CEL you need an ECU tune. With the 200 cell cats you don't need a tune and there is no CEL and will pass emissions inspection.

The sound with the bypass is on the louder side but still a street exhaust. Much sharper throttle response and of course another 20 or so HP. Sound is racy and growly, and the turbo whistle is clear. If I remember GTRnick had posted a cool video with his FVD with bypass. He caught some flame spits when revving. Fantastic.

Does this hang down any further than stock? Car is lowered, don't want to damage my exhaust on curbs or wild animals

Certainly not any lower than any other aftermarket exhaust I've installed. My car isn't lowered, but I've gone down some steep driveways and exhaust has never touched..

On a 997 GT2 but sound is the same: 200 cell FVD sport exhaust with Quad 80mm tips. Required to modify and reshape GT2 rear bumper exhaust vents.
