Long story short. My brother bought a 996 Turbo. He has had some tough hurdles that he has overcome and never lost courage or stregnth. He was finally able to buy his dream car so I would like to kind of pay it forward and lightly modify it for him.
So with that said, I am looking for a set of K16 billets, K24/18Gs or something similar. If anyone has any they are looking to sell at a reasonable price please let me know. Obviously Im looking for something I can just bolt on for him so the turbos have to be in good shape and not need a rebuild or anything.

why not use the cores from his car that would save you alot on cost.

Oh, My understanding is it was by far cheaper to find a used set being sold.
The going rate for a billet upgrade from Blouch on a K16 is $700 a turbo. Then add the shipping costs to get them there and get them back. Looking at over $1500.
I thought I see billet K16's selling for around $1100-1200 for the pair and K24/18G for about $1500? I can even sell the stock turbos after to make up some of the money.

I doubt you'll find good stock k24s for less than 1200. Fwiw I sold my k24/26 a year ago for 2300. I shipped them to Europe though. Probably settled on 1800 net in the USA.

Ya I might be thinking of stock K24s but I am sure I saw K16 billets selling for $1100 in the past. Modded K24s may have been around $1600-$1800
