Didn't Fikse go bankrupt a short while ago, and somebody bought them out? How's the build quality of these things?

I never heard of Fikse going bankrupt. Their website appear to be fully functioning.

I can only speak for my set, but build quality is outstanding. I've had no issues with any defects leading to damage or requiring repairs or warranty claim.

Think you might be mistaking them with Kinesis who got bought out by Lexani.

Nope, both 997.1 & 997.2 GT3s are narrow body with a 71.18" width (w/o mirrors)

997.2 GT3 RS is widebody wtih a 72.91" (w/o mirrors)

991 GT3 is a widebody I believe.

There are actually more widebody cars than narrow body models, including the GTSs, GT2s, Targas, etc.

Really, the only 3 narrow body cars are the 997.1 and 997.2 base Carrera, C2S, and GT3.

I stand corrected. Thanks for clarifying. Only RS variants of the 997.2 GT3 are body.
