WTB: Front OEM Plate Mount for 997.1

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Brand New

Looking for a OEM front plate mount for a 997.1

I live in a front plate state and the PO of my car installed a tow hook mount. I think I prefer the stock location for the plate. The tow hook mount seems to stick out too far.

Anyone have a stock mount laying around?

I'd stick with the tow hook mount so you don't have to drill holes in your front bumper. Maybe you can figure out a way to shorten the attachment bolt so it fits closer.

I may want to go this route

This seems to be a good solution. Stock location, seems more flush than the tow hook mount and no holes in my pristine bumper

Does anyone here have experience with this mount?

Thanks to those who replied to this message. I am going to try to modify my tow hook mount to try getting the plate to fit more flush to the bumper. I will PM you if I decide to go with the stock mount
