Update: I posted these for sale last year and have been using them for over a year with no issue since I epoxied them. I'm thinking of going a different route now so will sell if someone is interested, otherwise I'll continue to use them.

I'll also sell the 2.5" Forge boost hose setup if you need to connect to factory y-pipe for another $225.

Intercoolers from Speedtech which should fit 996 and 997 Turbos. 3.5" cores, 2.5" inlets and outlets.

These IC's will also include silicone boost hoses (not the Forge hoses in the picture) that are set up for a Speedtech Y-pipe.

These flow really well. I was seeing a few more PSI compared to stock and 997.2 GT2 IC's.

These are currently on my car, so I would just need a few days to get a chance to remove them should someone want to purchase. Until then, I will keep them on my car.

Full disclosure, I recently purchased these from awdbiturbo1 and they had leaks from pores in 3 spots. I repaired with epoxy and tested to 30 PSI and there are currently no leaks. I am confident enough of the repair that I am running them myself until someone would like to buy them. You can see one of the repairs in one of the pictures. It's not pretty, but it's effective and the repairs are hidden with the bodywork in place.

These go for about $2800 from Speedtech without the hoses. I am asking $1200 with everything included.

 

Why not weld them?

 

I didn't want to take the chance of making it worse welding on cast aluminum that has seen years of oil vapor coming out of the turbo. I am not a welding expert so someone else may say it's not a big deal and want to go the route of chipping the epoxy off and welding.
