I purchased a 997.1tt a few months back and we pulled the motor to do a full build, previous owner told me car had a new clutch done 5K ago, i assumed it was stock clutch so ordered a Sachs 2.5 kit. Well when i picked up the car and looked at the clutch it became obvious it already had an upgraded clutch. If i would have known i would have kept it in there, too late now. No issues before the shop pulled it all out, car drove like stock. It looks like it has a ton of life left on it.

I was told this is a version of Clutch Masters stage 2.5 or 3 Full Disk Fiber sprung. OEM flywheel. This holds about 700hp. Everything mates perfect since your not switching flywheels or disks this should drop into any 997.1tt with no issues. This setup is 3000$ new.

Can you put part numbers on clutch disc and pressure plate so can determine exactly what this on is. Thanks, Eric.

Thanks its the 964 sachs pressure plate, 2.5 kit one, and the disc is the same disc that clutch masters must mod for the 8 pucks. Did it feel like stock, no chatter or anything when coming from a stop.

It was perfect, no chatter or anything i though it was a stock clutch the whole time. I had a PPI done for the car at a Porsche dealership and they drove it around a bunch and marked it all as excellent including the clutch, i have a copy of that report. Like i mentioned i ordered all new parts for the full build and only realized its an upgraded clutch once all the new parts were already in so too late.
