Hello,

For sale is a Speedtech 3" X-cellerator exhaust system. This system comes complete with both high flow cats and cat-less pipes (unused) as well as all necessary hardware.

I bought the muffler a couple of years ago and installed it with with custom fabricated pipes from the turbos to the muffler. After running it for some time, I decided that I wanted something quieter. The 3" system without cats sounded great, but it was just too much for me.

I purchased a 2.5" system off of this forum, and installed just the muffler. The 3" muffler and the rest of the components have been sitting boxed up for a while.

The system will include a brand new set of V-band clamps as I needed to use one of the others for my install.

Also, in the interest of full disclosure - even though the cat-less pipes are completely unused, somebody along the line decided that they needed to be further ported. While the porting job looks pretty good, they removed a little too much material and one of the flanges broke free from the pipe during shipment to me. The pipe was sent to speedtech for repair and the welded it back together which is what you see in the second picture.

Why the custom modified pipes from turbos to muffler? Didn't the Speedtech connecting pipes work?

 

Good question.

I originally bought just the 3" muffler and tips from this forum with the intention of fabricating the turbo to muffler piping. I was able to save a bit of money and I also enjoy doing that type of work.

Although I never personally installed any of the piping that is for sale here, I have 100% confidence that it will fit perfectly.

Here are some pics my fabrication process. Please keep in mind that the only thing currently for sale in any of the following pictures is the 3" muffler.
