You can get the rears re-bodied and you're all set.
I just did a set of RSPros with Andrew Brennan at Brennan Autosport.
Great service and turnaround.

When you re-body the rear shock it has the correct pickle fork vs. eye end on it.

You could go to 997 style rear carriers and use the eye style end, swap to 997 style sway bars, etc. I was on the fence about doing this conversion since I am redoing the hubs and bearings at the same time, but decided to leave well enough alone and not get into more variables...for once!
