Q: If I have 2 batteries (Bentley GT), does it charge only the one it is hooked to, if using cigarette lighter charger does it only charge one or both.A: It will handle two batteries okay. whether it will charge both or only the one it is connected to depends entirely on how you batteries and electrical system are wired.

A: Your Bentley likely has a battery isolator, as well as some sensitive battery management devices. To charge both batteries properly you will need to find the isolator input, the easiest place is probably the alternator + terminal or the jump-start terminals. I would recommend contacting you dealers service department and see what they can tell you. Short answer; no, I would not charge it through the cigarette lighter outlet.

A: The "cigarette lighter" style port in the trunk near the passengers side battery in the boot(trunk), is setup to handle both start and run batteries. There is a lead(sm. yellow wire) from the terminal which bypasses the battery switching relay. Connecting directly to terminals will only charge one or the other and can leave you stranded. Continental flying spur is my current application and working well.
