This is a long shot but I figured I'd throw it up here...

Anyone actually have a Bilstein B8 Front Left strut w/PASM support for a 997.1 Carrera 4S/Turbo, part #35-135845?

My 911 Turbo has 75K miles on it and my shocks/mounts/bearings are dead after the poor roads here in South Beach beat them up over the years. I'm also on GMG springs which I love but I'm sure didn't help

I sadly ordered a new set of struts from ECS and they only informed me a week later they are on national backorder until 2023 (they list December 16th but the last time I ordered a part like this it was another +month to get here).

Not thrilled about how they do this -- so many online vendors list "in stock, ready to ship!" which is outright disengenuous. I missed a small window to pickup this strut from another vendor who now no longer has them, and I cannot find it anywhere. I did actually manage to get the front/right strut in.

The rears are in-stock most everywhere.

I don't want to settle on B6s as I really would like a proper strut to go with my lowering springs, and B8 is my only option as I don't really feel like going all out with the B16.

Good luck on your search. I had the same issue for my turbo. Ordered B8s and couldnt track down the final corner. Decided to go to B6s and now I am having the same issues tracking down the left front. You may look in Europe and and in Canada. I have found some possible options but you will pay more.

I've reached out to a number of the vendors who have websites I found on Google, along with some eBay listings.

All incorrectly reporting the shock is in stock and ready for shipment, but when I inquire they tell me it's drop shipped (which of course means backordered and not really in stock). The earliest I found stating shipment was November which doesn't work for me.
