are u sure ur DME will work on another turbo... last time I heard each ecu is coded for particular vin number....
not trying to cause problems but I just wanted to point out the obvious just in case so u dont have issues later with returns when the buyer puts the ecu in and the car does nto start.

interested but isn't each ecu tied to the car key's immobilizer chip?

The DME will need to be coded by the dealer, usally like 1/2hr. charge. They will put your cars VIN and imobilizer codes into it... I just went through this with the current ECU in my car, That is why I am selling this unit... I am in the process of switching to a protomotive setup....

Guys just wanted to clear something up here, The DME can go into different cars, however you need the VIN from the car the DME is coming out of....I just went thru this on a FVD ECU swap.

Please post or send me pictures of the front AND back of the unit. Stephen with IA MAY be able to save the programming.

Shark:
The ECU can be coded by any dealer or Tuner, usualy a half hour charge. Trick is, you want them to code the ecu with your imobilizer codes without updating the software loaded on the ECU. If they update the software the tuned file is overwritten.

Here are some crappy pics I took with my cel phone...

Stephen said the older version of a techart he couldn't do anything with, he said the key was some sort of "hump" on the back. I'll alert him to this.

Remember, no dealer in Houston would touch it so I called IA.
