OEM GT2 Wheels and Tires are back up for sale!

Selling a set of OEM GT2 wheels and tires. ***Rims are sold, but will have tires for sale***

The back of the wheels have the BBS logo and the following sizes stamped on them:

Front: 8.5J x 18 - ET40
has original Michelin Pilot Sports 235/40-18
Pair of fronts for $300

Rear: 12J x 18 - ET45
has original Michelin Pilot Sports 315/30-18
Pair of rears for $500

The tires have no blemishes at all. The tires look nearly new and have around 90% of the tread still left on them.(see pictures)

I originally had sold these wheels with an asking price of $2200obo over a month ago to a fellow 6speeder. However when the wheels were shipped by Fedex Ground, 2 of the rims were slightly nicked during shipment. The damage was very minor, but I still managed to get Fedex to pay out a $300 claim to compensate for the few small scratches. (Close-up photos of the nicks provided below)

Even with the $300 claim that was given, the buyer decided that he no longer wanted to put GT2 style wheels on his 1997 993Turbo because he changed his mind and wanted a different style of wheel instead. The buyer desperetly requested that I take the GT2 wheels back if he paid for all my incurred costs and trouble, and I kept the $300 from Fedex. I didn't want to be a jerk about the sale since I've bought/sold tons of stuff on 6speed.com myself, so I refunded an agreed upon amount and he shipped the wheels back to me. (no additional scratches this time around)

So that's why I have these wheels back up for sale. They are still in great shape, and were in absolute perfect condition when I first sold them. I have posted close-up photos of the nicks that were incurred. As a result of these few nicks, I have dropped the asking price from $2200 down on the rims.

how much w/o tires?

 

Thanks for the inquiries about selling just the rims, or only the rears. I don't mind parting out if I can get interested buyers for each of the pieces.

Finally able to post close up photos of each wheel and tire tread of front and rear tires.

 

I have a couple buyers interested in just the tires, so if anyone wants just the rims, I'll sell the perfect set for asking price of $1100.
