I hate to go against the grain, but personally I find that red just doesn't go with the car.
Give me that in black, dark blue, dark silver, anything in that range. Red, not my cup.

Yes, I would also go for a darker and more elegant colour along those lines not only will it look more conservative but discrete as well.
