22 upgrade issues and selling their oe rims

i am just wondering anyone selling their original rim after they upgrade to 22s. i am looking for a set of mulliner 20s.

also for ppl that upgrade to 22s. is there any issues ? issue such as vibrating, rims fly off. etc...
anyone try out the DPE wheels ?
what is the rims size and tire size you guys are running ?
also what type of tire?

after you guy have upgrade the rims, have you driven it fast to over 150 mph and is there any issue. i sometimes drive like a little idoit when there is wide open road so i want to be sure. thansk for the tips.

Hey Sean. I just bought a 2007 Diamond Series that came with the special wheels that are exclusive to that series. I loved em and still do even tho i sold em.
I upgraded to 22' HRE 944R's love them. I put on New Pirelli's P Zero's and they are awesome.
No wheels flying off ( LOL ) but I did sacrafice the comfort of the ride.

I wanted the car to look real agreesive and drive it like a sports car, so that is the trade off. I lowered the car and put chrome grills on it as well.

In regards to speed I have been over 150 with the new wheels and it was perfect!!! no vibrations at all.

If you want the comfort ride do not switch sizes stay with 20's and you will have that dream ride Bentley owners want.

would be nice to have 21'' option. tons people running 22'' in LA but the problem is the tire rating is not up to the weight yet so we've seen lots of bent wheels. ride's ok but i like the OE 20'' & again 21'' option would be nice.

I've got 22" NC Forged wheels on my Flying Spur and I hate them. The ride quality is lost, you'll end up with a bent rim within months and then start dealing with flats on a weekly, if not daily basis. If your city isn't great about repairing potholes/bumps, don't even think about a 22" on such a heavy car.

Also, if you do upgrade, don't sell your OEM wheels. Having them handy would be a smart move if you bust a wheel. You can just swap your OEM wheels and still be fully functional.

i just want to thank you all for your suggestions. my tire on my 19 is almost out. part of me want to get a set of 22s but i heard so many horror story about leaking air ad bent rims and wheel fly off (due to aftermarket lugnuts). on the other hand i am pretty sick of the rims that is on there. i pray to god that someone can drop on my lap a set of 20 inch mulliner soon agian thanks for the cmnt. its great meeting and talking to you all.

I got 21" HRE and I love them. Ride is not much different than on my 20" Mulliner wheel. I am more careful on potholes, etc though.

The 22" wheels for these cars is a great options. HRE just came out with a monoblock line for the Bentley and they look great, with no issues, rubbing etc...

PM or Email me for more information

i got 22's. it rides great. the car is on air bags so it's a soft ride regardless, much like my rangerover that sit on 24's. plus you have 4 different ride settings for plush cruising.

i bought lowering linkages for $269 and they are an easy install. 20 minutes and you can adjust the height as from 2.5" to zero. the quality is superb, infact overfich will be using the same lowering unit. i have no rubbing issues or ride issues. the lowering module is a ripoff. i had it done on my sl55, it's function in theory works no differently then the linkage so why pay more. the cars are on air bags, so it just depends on the placement of the sensor. it can not adjust the compression or rebound of the car. i forgot where i bought it from but look it it up on the search for "lowering linkage"
