I am considering getting one in the next year or so, I see there in the 70-80G range and could come down some more, Ive been saving my money like crazy, I would only be using this car as weekend car and not a DD.

Whats the Maintance Like on these days, I know it can't be a pretty bill thats for sure.

How much would an oil change be 2-300? I am also Considering a MB S600,

I am only 18, and you guys are gonna think I am nuts but thats ok, its understandable I don't spend my money I ve been saving for quite a well like I mentioned before I plan to buy the car outright.

I considered others Cars, But I decided maybe I should save a little more and get something that you don't see everyday, and that your proud that you were able to accomplish buying such an expensive car.

For those of you who are wondering what other car I was considering, well its a Ford and its nothing to rare at the moment but it would have been reasonable, an 03-04 Mustang Cobra, I know people are gonna laugh but hey thats what I wanted and still do but I want luxury instead.

 

Dude are ur crazy do u know how high ur insurance it would be and do u have a garage.. oh and every cop in ur town will stare u down or even pull u over just because they see u in that car. i would stick with looking into the cobra

Yeah but the cobra wouldnt be as high as a bentley i have a couple friends with cobras and they dont pay that much and nah i dont have a ford gt just wish i did its my dream car but i know right now i can afford it

 

nice, service and maintenance will definitely be pretty pricey.

you are taking about an 05 GT as the GTCs are a bit more expensive and didnt come out until fall 06.

heh mustang cobra and a gt are opposite ends of the spectrum unless you are talking about a 1967 AC Shelby Cobra.

you must have had great paying jobs and worked a lot of hours to have enough to buy 70-80g outright. when i was 18 i definitely didnt have that much saved up lol.

just do it buy the 05 gt, you will love it.

although, color and interior can play as much as 20-30gs difference

heh i dont know it is still included with my warranty but i would imagine about $600+ for maintenance. maybe someone else knows for sure.

 

I know you desperately want a car like this now, but you'd be better served by buying securities with that money and waiting until you're 25. You will thank yourself then. At your age a car like this is going to be a huge headache.

 

i don't want to sound like an old man (and i am by no means old), but holland's right. your $70-80k would be worth a lot more if you play your cards right. a Mustang GT or Cobra is not a bad car to have at 18, and you'll save a TON of money in comparison to a Bentley.

if you want to blow all that hard-earned money on a car, then go for it. but i really hope you know what you're doing and that you've got something going on to support it.
