I just purchased an 07 GTC & I am trying to connect my ipod & it says that the charging is not compatible and my iphone is not compatible either and it doesnt give me the option to turn the ipod on .. Does anybody know which ipod is compatioble with the car & also if I can update the software to the 08 version so my iphone will work with the bluetooth or do I have to buy a new phone that is compatible with the year?

The iphone connects but as soon as the person picks up I cannot hear anything.

 

I have only seen the regular Ipods work - they currently dont offer anupdate for the iphone on the 07 - they should be more like mercedes and have updates a couple of times a year

 

for some reason, the bentley phone compatibility website suggests that you can update the software in the car to allow compatibility with iphone -- you should go ask your local service department if that's true.
