Ac and user profile?

Hello all, does all of your ac automatically turns on every time you start your car even if you turn it off b4? I tried setting up the user profile with ac off and pressing store button, but when I start the car, the ac comes on automatically again. Is this normal? How can I turn off the ac and have it stay off? I tried Storing the user profile with 'econ' button on and store it to user profile but it automatically turns off the Econ and back to ac... Please help! Very annoying! I can think that it has something to do with the temerature setting but I just can't have it stay off...

Have a feeling the AC wil come back on to whatever temp you had it set on. Just basic memory of temp and not on/off or econ.

Hey Steven, thanks for the reply.
I guess its just made like that..
I just never had any cars which AC is automatically turned on.
BTW, did you also install a audio amp and sub in addition to your Dice kit?
i was wondering which wires i should take from the oem amp next to the battery on the right side of the trunk..
Thanks!

David

Yes, it is what it is (and i like it).

David, nope i keep the stock system stock except for removing the 6 CD changer in exchange for the Dice unit for the iTouch (and hopefully a 128GB or higher unit will come out soon as 64GB is waaaay too small). Bose system tend to have an amplifier directly by or on the driver units. If this is true in the Bentley, then odds are ther will be four wires per driver. Two will be for power (positive and negative) and the other two will be for the signal at preamplification level (positive and negative). If there are just two wires to the driver, then the amplifier is somewhere 'upstream' so follow the wires. You said the amp is by the battery....

SO start at the drivers themselves and work your way back to the amplifier.

As for which is positive and negative, that can get a bit more tricky so tell me the color coding (red will be positive and black will be negative yet sometimes manufacturers use other non-standard color schemes). Who knows, you might get lucky and on the back of the driver it will tell you which is which, as keeping the correct phase is very important. When in doubt, call Bentley and ask the technician for the wire color coding and what they are for. Wish i knew more. Posting macro pics could also help me.
