New GT V8 order
New GT V8 order
Hi guys,
After a few weeks of consideration among MB CL63, Maserati GT, and Bentley GT. I finally made a deposit for a new V8 today. The delivery is expected in August to September. This will be my first Bentely, and I need some help on deciding some specs.
First, exterior color . I was going to order Beluga black, but the dealer said he would rathar go for Onyx since Beluga is too black and dull, plus hard to maintain. Which color do you think look better on GT?
Second, Carbon-ceramic Brake. I wouldn't consdier order it for any other cars, but considering GT's massive weight, I don't know if I need it. What do you think?
Too bad that Bentley doesn't offer any Mulliner specification options in my country market, so I could not order black machined wheels.
Thanks in advance.

StanMoon,
That is great news and thanks for your post. Have a beluga GT here and yes black is a great color when all polished and waxed... until dust, dirt, etc. happen. Still, my preference for black cars is simply that, my preference. My best advice is to pick the color you most desire.
As for the carbon-ceramic brakes... must agree due to the massive weight they make sense from a longer wear period/lifecycle. They also lower the unspring weight, which is also of benefit to some degree.
Look forward to seeing photos of the car when you get her and your driving impressions.

Yes it is more difficult to keep clean and sharp but when you do nothing is better IMHO.
