Calling all FLYING SPUR owners....

I'm researching on picking up a FS - I've read on the forums they are pretty reliable. Looking at 07 or 08 (maybe an 06) - is there a major difference between the years? Facelift, suspension upgrades, power upgrade, etc?
Any things to look for in the preowned cars?
What options do you feel are the necessary ones?

I believe I am correct when I say that the FS is very similar in build and design as the GT and therefore will overlap with reliability and maintenance. These cars seem to be more reliable as a DD than most super cars in the price range or performance category.

Thanks, can anyone tell me if there is any significant difference between an 06 and and 08 model? I'm trying to decide between pretty identical FS's - one is an 06, 2 owner with 20k miles for around $79k and the other is an 08, one owner with 10k miles for $99k. Wondering if $20k is worth newer model with 10k miles less...

i'm guessing the same better NAV and Bluetooth/phone items in the 08 like there was in the 06 versus 08 CGT version. Ask your local dealer, they'll have details on the differences.

I would say the $20K is about right for the difference between the cars. Personally I'd favor the newer one, all factors considered. Good hunting.

Wedgeduck is infamous around these parts
Nice garage! Look into Vellano Wheels. They seemed to come up with nice 22" and 24" for the Bentley platforms.

One for each style of driving - nice!

I'm looking at getting my garage floor done, so along with Grwisher I'm keen to know how you like your coating.

Thanks folks!

Garage floor was done with epoxy - I highly recommend it! Also very easy to clean

Agree with the epoxy coating just might be more difficult on old concrete with prior treatments.

That is an ideal couple. You wouldn't be partial to the Brits would ya?

Nice stable mate. So how are you liking the FS? Put any miles on it yet?
