How to swap out to Mulliner Shift ****?

Does anyone have any instructions of how to swap out a standard Shift **** to a Mulliner Shift ****? Do you have to remove the entire shift assembly to do this ? Any help or instructions would be nice!

The **** is held in place by a round sleeve below the shift ****. Pull the sleeve down and pull straight up on the know and it pulls straight up and off. Slide the new **** on, pull the round sleeve over the **** and it is installed. No need to remove anything else, a simple design to hold the **** in place.

Yes,
Ogara Coach in West Los Angeles, Calif. had it in stock. The parts guy pulled off the old one, stuck the new one on in less than 5 minutes.

I think it was around $600 USD, I do not have my records with me right now, but I do believe that was the amount.
