Looking to Buy this 09 GT Speed in Canada

Looking into possible getting this 09 GT Speed that was from the states and brought up to Canada last year, so all of the exchange, duty, Gst and gas guzzler tax has been paid for.
He is asking 130,000.00 Canadian all in.
It has about 16,000 miles and has the Naim, Adaptive Cruise and 2010 mirrors. Also 3M'd.
I don't like the 4 spoke steering wheel though, not sure why it was changed, i guess to match the piano black.
There is no warranty left and I of course would take it for PPI.
The car was serviced before it left Chicago last year at the dealer.
I have looked around and I see cars in the states for a little less but after paying all the this and thats and freight, I think this is at the right price.
Whats your thoughts?
Don't be scared to hurt my feelings, I'll only cry for a bit.
I am 52 and need to sell my 91 Nsx supercharged unit and my Bourget Chopper and grow up a bit.
I want a comfortable ride on our terrible roads and also power.
Thanks for your comments and letting me be a member.

Sorry mate i missed this back in May mostly we are a good bunch of blokes. I think the price looks quite good for that car all things considered. Sure you scour the earth and find one for a bit less but like you said after all the little niggles are paid for $ could come out worse. I paid $130K for a 07 GTC with (9k miles so I think you are on the right track. Mine has two tone leather and a bit of other add ons but not the Niam unit.

Have driven the car yet? Or any other GT Speed? Check the car fax sheet for a possible bad history of course. We will keep this bumped up so the other lazy and inattentive guys can catch up.

LOL, thanks, we are going to see it and others and Aston Martins this Saturday. I have only rode in one 07 GT. Never behind the wheel. So I am excited for sure.
Are there other Bentley Groups on the net.
I am use to a Dedicated group like our NSXPrime.com that deals only in NSX's.
Also, These high service yearly rates look silly for changing out cabin and engine filters.
I do all my work myself and have a lift. I have added the supercharger and clutches and what not to the nsx. I don't see paying 3g to a dealer to change filters and oil.
Whats your thoughts.
Thanks

Oh boy your screwed. Wait to you drive that beast. I was test driving Merc. sl, Jag XKR and 911. When I drove the GTC it was game over for the others. after the purchase i borrowed a V8 vantage for the night and liked it but it was more sport and less fine ride and luxury. I was glad to get my Bentley back. Now the DB9 may be a competitor but I think they may have higher running costs?????? Let me know what you drive and what you think. I am 53 like you and thought the B car was going to be an ole geezer glide but it is not. On the truth though most of the time we are not racing on the public streets so the most impotent thing is the fine riding and looking gooooooooooooooood!

If you got mechanical skills go for it the car is just nuts and bolts like all the others. I hear there are good manuals that are helpful. The filters will cost $ and the thing takes a tanker of oil to refill when drained. I can't remember how many quarts but it's way up there.

Sweet! Thanks for the good info and I'll keep ya all informed.
Looking to drive a DBS as well, should be fun.
I see the Bentley 1st year filter kit at 350 and the 4th year at 800.00 on ebay. Plus I can get a diagnostic computer kit for 800 bucks or so.

You ain't got no worries mate with the oil and filters. Ask around about upkeep on the AM. Now know up front that this is a Bentley forum and I won't trash any cars but I am biased in favor of the Bentley.

SSSHHHH but i secretly love the Aston Martin line

Five months ago I traded in my 2010 GTC Speed that was originally MSRP of $244K and got $130K as my trade-in allowance. It had 11K miles on it. Since mine was a year newer and had fewer miles and is the more expensive convertible, seems like you could get a lower price on this car. I know the guys at Gold Coast and they are very negotiable: My 2010 Speed I bought from them when it was 3 months old and had 1400 miles on it (it was a press car - used by Bentley at car shows and for the automotive press to drive and write about) and I bought it for $212K, a $44K discount. Call Roland Kantor and tell him to sweeten the deal or else throw in an extended warranty for 2 years. Good luck! Beautiful car!

I see what you are saying, but this car is not there anymore, that is an old ad I had found and Im sure the car sold last year for somewhere around 110 to 115 to this guy that has it up here in Canada. This is where the car is now.
So if we take 115 x 1.05 for exchange rate, then x 1.05 for GST tax, then add in 4500.00 gas guzzler tax and you get 131g plus duty at 6.1% of Canadian cost 7g, plus shipping to canada, about 1500.00.
That totals about 139,500
Then this car up here in Canada looks like a fair price at 130g.

I think......lol

Ummm, your local VW dealer can do the oil/filter change. Last time I checked it was $120 as she need a lot of oil.
