tire pressure
Depends on what kind or tires you are running? The OEM tires give quite a range of acceptable pressures requiring more pressure for faster speeds. The front are supposed to be 3lbs. or so higher than rear. I run 44/41 to give safe speeds and descent comfort. Check you owners manuel for the ranges given.
My thoughts are I need to be safe at high speeds so I set the tires to be run up to 180mph. I have been to 165mph and that is not daily driving but I want to be prepared to go fast. I think the max pressure on the Y rated tires are about 50psi and then you are good to 200mph. I doubt I will get there and I do like a more pliant luxury ride so I opted for less than max. You can run them in the low forties for a better daily ride but not safe at higher speeds.
I went in the upper midrange and did 44psi front and three less in the rear on Pirelli P Zero Rosso, designated with the "B" for Bentley. You must run the three pound difference so do not vary that. If you are less of a speed demon then try 35r and 38f. If you do not like that go up three pound or so at and drive again. Personally I think that is to low for me and would set the front at 41-42 and three less on the rear.
Before you take my word check the dealer that sells those tires and see what he says for a Bentley GT. These are heavy fast cars and need plenty of support. What does you owners manuel say for those tires?
