does your car have a red safety triangle in compartment attached to inside lid of trunk?

 

Not in USA cars, unfortunately.

 

Mine - european- has. It is attached to the bootlid with two simple screws.
the location for the screws is embedded in the inside structure of the bootlid and can be found with a -simple- removal of the covering panel.
