I was excited about getting the SS but the one they had didn't turn out to be the one for me.
I was about to call it a day but out of curiosity asked about the C4S and found that they were expecting a highly optioned one to arrive this week so I jumped in and purchased it.
It's been a little while since I haven't had a Porsche my last one was an 07 997 tt. I'm excited about the new car.
Norman - I know you already got a 991 (awesome car, enjoy it!), but I wish I saw your post earlier because Miller in Greenwich has an cool 2013 ISR car for sale (ugly wheels, but that can be fixed). It looks to be in a brand new condition with very low mileage and it has the new style interior (hi-res Navi, etc). Anyway, if you do any track driving, 991 will definitely work better than a Supersports. I was looking at 911s as well, but a well-optioned Turbo was pushing $170K and for that kind of money a lot more options are available.

Did you get rid of your Brooklands?

That's a wise move. When I bought my 06 it had been poorly treated with body dings and the like. I got them all fixed so no-one could tell... except me.

A 1/4" misalign on the chrome strip bugged me for the whole couple of years I had it, and my eye was always drawn to it whenever I looked at the body.

No I did not keep the Brooklands the electrical gremlins came back and I lost patience with it when the service department told me they could not figure out what was causing it.
