I was thinking how nice it would be to replace the stock (nokia/guest phone) armrests with something else. Lockable gun vault (turning the two arm rests into a single custom one)... or perhaps an open slot for glasses or iphone...

Anyone seen anything similar or related to this?

Doesn't the newer GT have a single one? Perhaps its an easy swap over, probably expensive though?

 

hmm... I didn't realize that. I will take a closer look at that idea.

 

On the armrests - I am having trouble with the banana ratchet.
Lift both the armrests all of the way up to reset and then when I put them down - one goes all the way down(touching the wood) but the other stops in a horizintal position.
Is there a trick to getting both all the way down ?

p.s. would also like to replace with something a bit more useful.

 

silentspeed, its in the Super Sports i have seen it but perhaps thats a fixed rest rather than adjustable. It looks like the normal GT, even newer ones has the 2 piece rest.

 

Seen your post about armrest only going down halfway on your GT. Mine has just done exactly the same this morning. Did you solve your problem?
