My Bentley Appreciation Day Experience
My Bentley Appreciation Day Experience
With our weather being windy and wet the last few months, I haven't seen much seat time in the Bentley. I've got a home office, so there’s no real need to use it to go places (what a sad life I lead), and I've been using it less and less.
So I thought I'd set aside one day a week and call it Bentley Appreciation Day. In an hour or so I'd drive around for a bit, look for a nice scenic surround, take a few photos of the car and spend some time appreciating its great design from different angles. Since I always seem to see the same familiar view as I exit the garage to get into our SUV, this different viewpoint might give me the lift I need.
So here’s several shots from my iPhone on the first BAD at a heritage home. There’s nothing startling about the pics, it is just a personal way to revive my interest in the brand all over again. And yes, BAD worked a treat! I'm appreciating this car more and more each time I use it.

Putting up the photos also made me wonder why this Bentley forum doesn't have a sticky for owner photos. Is there a procedure, or do we just do it?

Thanks Orlando, yes it is. And I've also realised that it's not a good idea to photograph it over white lines - they mess up the chrome strip with reflections. I'm always learning something new...
Agreed, looks great too when you park it alongside 'ordinary' cars... really stands out. Have you got any pics?
