Have had 2 previous, have 3 currently (so this was the first purchase out of the current 3)...
This is what I am starting with...BTW, one side says "*****", one said says "**** u" and on the hood it used to say "Ho" but now the hood is illegible because they used a cheap clear that the sun has destroyed...the tail lights were busted out with a baseball bat and the fenders, quarters and roof were hit with a bat as well...someone "took a Louiseville slugger to both head lights" also (thinking it was not Kerry Underwood)...she runs great though lol...not that it matters because I am dropping a 1000hp 19k mile BEB motor in her with a built out 6HP26A with billet input shafts and upgraded internals...
I'll probably start a thread on the whole build, but for now, this is what it looks like so this is my current 05' Bentley GT :-)
Great project car. A thread on your progress would be excellent.

First serious upgrade: Loving the look and the ride is exceptional, especially in sport mode which I’m always in. Thoughts? What other upgrades are there?
I was perusing CarGurus earlier this week and came across a '20 GT V8 Mulliner in Cumbrian Green with only 10,500 miles on the clock and it was love at first sight. Interior is Cumbrian Green accents with Saddle seats/carpet. My '16 just got new front struts a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't planning on trading for a while but my wife said "you aren't getting any younger, if you like it buy it," so I did! (Amazing wife, right?) Worked out a deal on Thursday by phone and they picked up the old one and delivered this beauty to my door last night. The move from Gen 2 to Gen 3 is evolutionary and I couldn't be happier. The v8 is actually peppier than the W12.
I can see why you made the move Bruce. She looks amazing.
Question: Is the V8 Gen 3 really more peppier (off the blocks) than the W12?
GTSPD
I can't say yes based on any empirical testing but it certainly feels that way. Of course, this car is 4 years and 20K miles younger so that could be a factor.
One very nice upgrade is the HomeLink garage door programming. No more climbing a ladder to press a button on the motor for rolling codes, it's all magically done from the car's touchscreen.
The car has only one battery now located where the spare tire used to be. Instead of a spare there's an inflator.
