Still having perceived braking issue

I'm still having an issue with my 08 speeds brakes or so I believe.

If you want to do a controlled high speed slow down and press the peddle firmly as you would in an 911 or other performance car, the Bentley slows down quickly but no where near quick enough. Only if you really press the peddle hard then it travels further and immediately brings the brakes on full. Max slowdown with ABS working hard. There seems to be 2 peddle points 2/3 way down giving good braking then another firming of the peddle the last 1/3 giving what I believe to be full/maximum braking . Its very hard to control braking hard into a curve from high speed . The car doesn't slow down fast enough so you have to hit the peddle harder which slams everything on "full".

Slow speed driving even up to 50 mph ota and the peddle feels great. Stopping from 30 in an emergency requires very little brake peddle which is what I expect. However going very fast up to a corner or a real high way emergency slow down but not a complete stop requires the peddle to be pressed into this last / bottom 1/3 of the travel.

Anyone have any ideas...........Whats yours like???????

Thanks Guys.

Sounds like you have a leak in one of the vacuum lines that run to the brake booster.

That's the Servo on our side of the pond Sunnyside!
Another thought, have you checked the pad thickness?

I am quite impressed with mine, far better than the brembo's on my last Jag XJR and they were uprated discs and pads too.

Hi Les,
The car isn't showing any symptoms of an air/vac leak
The car is fine at lower speeds but from high speed there is a definitely a 2 stage process. First 2/3 travel and the speed is reduced but not enough, then the last bit of travel puts the brake on with a fury
